We believe that there’s unity in celebration, and sports provide a unique opportunity to promote social involvement and community interaction.

Chem Chem Association’s annual soccer tournament has been held every year for the past ten years, bringing together community members from all ten villages — and beyond. In 2024, there were 34 teams, including 17 men's teams, eight women's teams, and nine youth teams, drawing an impressive crowd of 4,000 spectators. 

The tournament was broadcast on various media channels, including radio and TV, extending its reach well beyond the Manyara region. This highlighted how shared passion can unite people and inspire action.
