Chem Chem Association (CCA) is a non-profit organization in northern Tanzania with a mission to protect wildlife and empower rural communities in the Tarangire-Manyara ecosystem through conservation, education and community engagement projects. CCA operates in the Burunge Wildlife Management Area (WMA), an area connecting Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks, through the Kwakuchinja wildlife corridor, placing the Association in a unique position to protect the ecosystem.

CCA together with its private partner Chem Chem Safaris, entered into concession lease agreements with the Burunge Wildlife Management Area (BWMA) to secure and protect the Kwakuchinja corridor. This corridor is an important wildlife route, enabling the two national parks to be connected and ensuring the survival of the overall ecosystem. Working in partnership with the government, local stakeholders and its private partner Chem Chem Safaris, CCA is focused on building lasting relationships with communities, empowering them to nurture and manage their natural resources to maximize environmental, social and economic benefits.
